The spindle drive has a threaded spindle. It has several rolling ring units set eccentrically round the spindle to form a spindle nut. Individual spring elements of mutually tensioned leaf springs no longer lie in the engagement plane but are set to the right and left thereof so that the residual height 'h1' in the engagement plane is only large enough to transfer the forces during operation.
