PURPOSE:To set a curve accurately and to amend meandering by pushing the outside with a driving jack, pulling the inside with a center hold jack while controlling the length of a rod, and placing a shield machine so that it may not go back over its way. CONSTITUTION:One end of a rod 6 parallel with a skin plate 1 is fixed to a partition 5 provided in the vicinity of the rear of a driving jack 3. After that, the other end of the rod 6 is mounted to a bearing member 8 fixed to a segment 4 through a center hold jack 9. Then, the driving jack is expanded to drive a shield machine and, at the same time, the rod of the jack 9 is reduced at the inside of a curved direction, generating tensile force to swivel the shield machine. Furthermore, a nut 10 is loosened to expand the rod 6 to the side of a facing, and the jack 9 is reset to swivel and advance forward as well. According to the constitution, the shield machine is always pulled to a curved direction, and it can swivel smoothly. |
