PURPOSE:To constitute an image of color so as to be viewed stereoscopically even if it is viewed from any angle by bringing an image for the right eye and an image for the left eye whose wavelength distributions are different, to stereoscopic vision through filters each different in transmittivity. CONSTITUTION:Light sources 1-3 for the left eye and light sources 4-6 for the right eye are provided, and also, wavelength distributions of first-third wavelength dividing filters L1-L3 for the left eye and first-third wavelength dividing filters R1-R3 for the right eye are made different, so that the wavelength distributions of a light beam which is transmitted through these filters are different in the left and the right. In such a state, images for the left eye which passed through the first-the third wavelength dividing filters L1-L3 and the first-the third video films l1-l3 for the right eye from the light sources 1-3, and images for the right eye which passed through the first-the third wavelength dividing filters R1-R3 and first-third video films r1-r3 from the light sources 4-6 are projected to a screen 7 and each image 8, 9, 10 and 11 is formed. When each image 8, 9, 10 and 11 which is formed in such a way is viewed through the filters for the left and the right eyes L, R each different in transmittivity, it can be viewed stereoscopically. |
