PURPOSE:To make the control of the temp. distributions in a blast furnace possible by arranging a pair of upper and lower measuring points along the flow lines, along which the charged materials in the packed beds in a blast furnace flow downward, into plural arrangements in the radial direction of the furnace inside, and detecting the distributions of the ratios of the heat flow in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:Levels L, L' of suitable intervals are determined in vertrical directions along the flow lines S1, S2, S3 along which the charging materials in the shaft part 1 of a blast furnace move downward, and the intersected points P1, P1', P2, P2', P3, P3' with the lines S1, S2, S3 are set respectively as one set of upper and lower measuring points. Sondes 2, 2' are charged to the respective measuring points, and the temps. of gases and charging materials at the respective points are measured via photoelectric transducers 3, 3' and are outputted with a printer 5 via a microcomputer 4. The distributions of heat flow ratios in the radial direction are known by measuring the temps. of the solids and gases at the two levels L, L' in this way. When any abnormality is detected, the state of the charged material is adjusted to restore the normal values, whereby the control of the temp. distribution is made possible. |
