PURPOSE: To facilitate the transportation and storage of an inflator by fixing an air bag in a container after assembling the container and fixing the inflator on the container by an inflator holder, etc., at the final stage of assembly. CONSTITUTION: This air bag module 10 is constituted of an air bag container having an inside void and a cylindrical inflator (gas generator) 14 to be fixed on this container. The air bag container 11 is constituted of a wall 18 and a cover, and an inflator void 26 partitioned by a inflator holder 22 fixed on the wall 18 is formed on the outside of the container 11. Additionally, the inflator 14 stored in the void 26 is held between a pair of arc bands 34 integrally formed with the wall 18 and the cover 20 installed by engagement of a tab 43 provided on the wall 18 and a hole 74, and it is positioned by a matching device constituted of a matching pin 40 on an inflator housing 15 and an opening part 44 provided on one arc band 34. |
