<p>The invention relates to a sloping roller conveyor provided with a frame and with rollers journalled in said frame, said rollers being freely rotatable about at least substantially horizontally extending axes of rotation. The arrangement is such that objects present on said rollers can move downwards under the influence of gravity. A guide for the objects extending along the roller conveyor is thereby provided along at least one side of the roller conveyor. The roller conveyor is provided with at least two sections of rollers, whereby the rollers in the one section can be adjusted independently of the rollers in the other section, between a position in which the axes of rotation of the rollers in question extend perpendicularly to the guide, and a position in which the axes of rotation of the rollers enclose an acute angle with said guide, in such a manner that, when seen in the intended direction of movement of the objects, the ends of the rollers located furthest from the guide are arranged in front of the ends of the rollers located near the guide.</p> |
