摘要 <p>A magnetooptical recording apparatus according to which light spots are successively formed on a magnetooptical disc (2) at a timing of a predetermined reference clock signal (SCK), and record data are magnetically recorded onto the disc (2) by applying a predetermined modulation magnetic field (HM) of which the polarity is inverted depending on the record data in synchronism with the reference clock signals (SCK), wherein the timing for inverting the polarity of the modulation magnetic field (HM) in response to the reference clock signals (SCK) is delayed by a predetermined amount depending upon the characteristics of the disc (2) in order to form a pit (P) at a correct position relative to the timing of the reference clock signal (SCK). Furthermore, the light beam (LA1) is controlled depending upon the temperature of the disc (2) and/or the scanning position of the light spot, in order to form the pit (P) at a correct position relative to the timing of the reference clock signal (SCK).</p>
