PURPOSE:To retrieve a desired picture in a short time by reading the picture with color from a scanner, extracting an identification color based on the picture and displaying a title. CONSTITUTION:A document is stored in a memory 2, which is a storing means, as the color picture. Information required for executing respective programs are inputted from a keyboard 6 and stored in a magnetic disk 5. This program is loaded as needed and each processing is executed under the control of a CPU 1. The document stored in the memory 2 is read as color picture data by a scanner 3 and converted to a digital signal. A picture control table is stored in an optical disk 4 and color information are expressed by three colors such as red, blue and green. Thus, since the title and identification color of the registered picture are simultaneously displayed, the desired picture can be efficiently retrieved from the storage of color control or picture color, etc., in a short time. |
