PURPOSE:To obtain an electroviscous fluid in which increase of consumed electric current is suppressed within a limit electric current in the range of used temperature by constructing dielectric granules from polyhydric alcohol- containing crystalline cellulose granules and covering surface thereof with a thin film having electrical insulation properties. CONSTITUTION:In an electroviscous fluid obtained by dispersing dielectric fine granules into an oily medium consisting of an amino modified or alcohol modified silicone oil, etc., granules constituted of crystalline cellulose granules containing a polyhydric alcohol as hydrophilic agent, whose surface is covered with an electrical insulating thin film of polyamide or epoxy resin, etc., and having two layer structure are used as the dielectric granules. |
