PURPOSE:To obtain a stable braking force at all times, by a method wherein an inflow of brake oil into a wheel cylinder is interrupted when a size of brake force exceeds a proportional value to the step-on force of a brake pedal by comparing the pedaling force of the brake pedal with the brake force. CONSTITUTION:Brake oil discharged from a master cylinder 2 through stepping- on of a brake pedal 1 enteres into a space 21 of a control cylinder 4 from a port 20 and pushes a pilot piston 23 outwardly. The brake oil arrives at a space 29 of a wheel cylinder 6 through both oil passageways 27, 28, makes a brake shoe 9 spread out by pushing out a wheel piston 7 and obtains braking force by pressing the brake shoe 9 against a brake drum 8. In this instance, when braking force FB exceeding force R.FP (R is a constant), which is proportional to force FP pressing the above piston 23, is generated, each lever 30 of a balancing plate 25 of force is bent inward, the oil passageway 27 is clogged with a rubber cup 22 due to a leftward movement of the piston 23 and an inflow of the brake oil into the wheel cylinder 6 is interrupted. |
