1451228 Liquid detergent compositions COLGATE-PALMOLIVE CO 5 Dec 1973 [6 Dec 1972] 56441/73 Heading C5D Liquid detergent compositions, useful for hand washing of dishes, comprise as the sole or principal detergent component 10 to 40% by weight of a water-soluble C 14 or C 15 paraffin monosulphonate or a mixture of such monosulphonates, wherein the weight ratio, based on the paraffins, is 1 : 3 to 3 : 1, in an aqueous medium. The compositions may comprise a sulphated ethoxylated (2 to 30 EO) C 10 -C 18 alcohol, a foam stabilizer such as a C 10 -C 18 alkanoic acid monoethanolamide, sodium xylene sulphonate and ethanol. The compositions may comprise paraffin disulphonates in minor amount. |
