PURPOSE:To easily perform focusing by performing automatic focusing in an ordinary photographing mode and displaying a focusing state and inhibiting the actuation of an automatic focusing means in a macro photographing mode. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with switching means 106 and 107 for switching the ordinary photographing mode and the macro photographing mode, a 1st lens FL which performs focusing in an ordinary photographing distance range, a 2nd lens ML which performs focusing in a macro photographing distance range, a photodetector means FLM and a calculation means 112 for calculating a defocusing quantity from the output of the photodetector means FLM. Furthermore, it is provided with the automatic focusing means 107, LDR, SLP, MO, 114, and 102-106 for performing focusing by driving the 1st lens FL by the amount corresponding to the defocusing quantity, a display means for displaying the focusing state and an inhibiting means for inhibiting the actuation of the automatic focusing means when the macro photographing mode is selected. Thus, focusing is easily performed. |
