This machine, intended to be mounted at the exit of an installation in which the bags are discharged, base forwards and open part rearwards, with the aid of conveyor belts or the like, comprises two parallel horizontal shafts 7 oriented in the direction of supply of the bags and driven in rotation in opposite directions so as to turn the bags to be stacked from top to bottom and from the outside to the width, each shaft carrying at least one blade 9 oriented longitudinally and having a helical profile, the pitches of the spirals corresponding to blades of the two shafts being inverted, so that, after supply of a bag on the two corresponding blades 9 of the two shafts 7 and pivoting of said blades, the open end of the bag is released by the two blades before the base thereof, with a view to its dropping into a magazine for formation of stacks of bags. <IMAGE> |
