PURPOSE:To improve the fixability of a toner compsn. at low temp. by using a resin binder contg. a specified amt. of urethane modified polyester resin composed of polyester resin and isocyanate and having a specified fraction of gel as the base of the compsn. CONSTITUTION:A resin binder contg. at least 20wt.% urethane modified polyester resin obtd. by allowing polyester resin to react with isocyanate and having 2-75wt.% fraction of gel is used as a base to obtain a toner compsn. This compsn. has superior fixability at low temp., superior shelf stability, offsetting resistance and resistance to the migration of a plasticizer for PVC. The contamination of a carrier and the formation of fine particles due to the breaking of toner particles are prevented and stable high quality images are obtd. by printing over a long period of time. |
