发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent blocking, to enhance color density, to make light fastness excellent and to improve surface fingerprint resistance by providing a resin layer having dyeability to a sublimable dye on a substrate and laminating a wax layer containing an ultraviolet absorber to the surface of the resin layer and providing a dyeable resin layer mixed with a release agent and an ultraviolet absorber on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:As a substrate, paper or plastic is used. A resin layer 3 having dyeability to a sublimable dye is provided to the surface of the substrate 1. The thickness of the resin layer 3 is pref. 5-8mum. For example, a polyester resin dissolved in methyl ethyl ketone or a toluene-ketone solvent is applied to a polyethylene terephthalate resin layer and, next, a wax layer 4 containing an ultraviolet absorber is formed so as to be superposed on the surface of the resin layer 3 and the thickness of the wax layer is 0.2-1mum. This image receiving material brings about the melting of wax at the time of the thermal transfer of a transfer medium and permits the sublimable dye from the transfer medium to easily transmit. After the wax layer is cooled and solidified, the release of the transfer medium from an image receiving material is made easy by the release effect of wax.
