PURPOSE:To realize easy working and at the same time prevent foaming stock liquid from overflowing at foam molding by a structure wherein a skin material is formed so as to correspond to the external shape of a product, at the part of which corrugated ridges in cross-section are provided and stitching is performed with thread at the base part of the ridge. CONSTITUTION:The foam-molded item concerned is an integral laminate of a skin body 11, a foamed layer 12 and a core body 13. In this case, as the foamed layer 12, integral foam molding of polyurethane foam or foam, which is made of polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene or the like and is preformed in advance, can be used. Further, as the core body 13, injection molding of polyvinyl chloride resin or of ABS resin, press-molding of metal is used and glass mat, glass cloth or the like impregnated with resin stock and hardened is also used. The skin body 11 is formed in advance so as to correspond to the external shape of a foam-molded item 10. At that time, corrugated ridges 15 and 15' having two crests in cross-section are formed at a part 14, at which stocks join together if the skin is made by sewing. In addition, stitchings 17 and 18 with actual threads are performed at the base parts at both sides of the ridges 15 and 15'. |
