Predictive quantizing method for the coding of a predicted range of values, a domain which is classified according to a defined criteria in a expected quantity of high occurance probability characterized by the fact that the expected quantity takes into consideration all relevant diverging expective parameters (predictions) technically obtainable from a signal development, to define thereby an expected range quantizable according to its size limited by a minimum and a maximum, whereby the quantizing values may be selected according to its points of accumulation.
