Single-use syringe for injection, with a tube 2 which has an assemblage 11 made up of a hollow appendix 12 for receiving a needle and of a transition part 14 between tube 2 and appendix 12; with a linked plunger 24 and rod 26; in the transition part 14 there is a weakened zone 20, and there are suitable means for causing an entrainment joint between plunger 24 and assemblage 11 when the plunger 24 is near the end of its travel, in such a way that the return of the plunger 24 involves the entrainment of at least part of said assemblage 11 towards the inside of the tube 2. The effect is thus achieved of both preventing re-use and hiding the needle used. <IMAGE>
