A dispensing closure device in two pieces for a container which has an internally threaded base with a dispensing hole in the front section and a raised rear platform which has a pivoting recess intended to receive a separate cap which rotates at least 90 degree from the closed position. The front section of the cap is generally circular with a pivoting rod in its rear part and, when it is closed, the upper surfaces of the cap and the base are coplanar and the closure has the appearance of a conventional screw cap. <IMAGE>
