PURPOSE:To make an expensive speed sensor unnecessary by calculating a secondary interlinkage magnetic flux vector from a primary magnetic flux vector and a primary current vector, and calculating slip-angular frequency, etc. CONSTITUTION:A three-phase induction motor 6 is driven from a dc voltage source 1 through a PWM inverter 3. The controller 7 of the inverter 3 includes a block 710 which generates a control flag ftheta and has no speed sensor. A secondary interlinkage magnetic flux operation block 714, a rotor-angular frequency operation block 715, and a rotational-speed-per-minute calculation block 716 are installed to presume the actual speed of the motor 6 and the calculated speed information is sent to a torque command calculation block 717. |
