PURPOSE:To have automatic fitting of an O-ring in the bore of an object surely and without risk damaging the object, by carring out fitting of O-ring while two or more fingers rise and rotate. CONSTITUTION:An elevating/sinking finger F1 and rotary fingers F2, F3 sink in detent recesses 22, 23 of an O-ring in the same phase to come in mating with the O-ring 5 placed in a receptacle metal 3 and are dtained by the detent recess 22 of the elevating/sinking finger F1 in the rightwise displaced position, and the O- ring 5 is detained by the detent recess 23 of rotary fingers F2, F3, when the finger F1 makes a minor rise, in the condition being tilted. Then the whole is raised to shift just over the object 4, in which the O-ring is to be fitted, and sunk and stopped so that the O-ring 5 to be detained by the detent recess 23 comes in alignment with an O-ring fitting groove 6. Then the detent recess 22 of the elevating/sinking finger F1 is sunk a little below the groove 6 while the rotary fingers F2, F3 are left in rotation round their own axes. Now the O-ring 5 is fitted in the fitting groove 6 if the whole is put into orbiting. |
