PURPOSE:To enable safe diving, by providing a depth-of-water measuring control circuit equipped with a water pressure detection circuit and a means for prohibiting the control of a water pressure measuring circuit with a depth-of- water measuring control with according to a control signal. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SS is operated, the start signal ST outputted from a water pressure measuring control circuit 8 goes to a H-level to output depth-of-water information Ps. When a switch Ks is again operated in this state by a carrier, a function selecting circuit 7 is operated to return to timing function. When the carrier starts diving from this state, depth of water is detected by a water pressure sensor 4 to be displayed on a display apparatus 12. When the carrier finishes diving and floats, the depth-of-water information is reduced and, when said depth-of-water information Ps is Ps<1 meter, a control signal CC goes to a H-level and the change-over operation of a water pressure measuring circuit 5 to a water pressure non-measuring state is enabled. As mentioned above, because depth-of-water information is always displayed, safe diving is enabled. |
