<p>PURPOSE:To exactly couple a rubber molding with an object to be touched by forming a space originated from the contraction of rubber between the portion to be touched of a rubber and the recession of an insert metal in a rubber molding consisting of the insert metal and the rubber. CONSTITUTION:An insert metal 1 made of integrally combined steel plates 11 and 12 having a groove (a) on its back is integrally molded with a rubber 2 and vulcanized to obtain a rubber molding. During the vulcanizing and molding period, the portion 21 to be touched of the rubber 21 is formed along the surface of the recession (b) of the metal 1, but when the molding is taken out of the molds and cooled, the portion 21 is separated from the surface of the metal 1 by contraction to form a space S between both the metal 1 and the rubber 2. When a desired mirror bracket 3 is fixed to the metal 1 with a screw 4, the portion 21 is pushed down by one end 31 to give a rubber-elastic couplement. The exact couplement of the rubber molding and the object to be touched can be attained.</p> |
