<p>PURPOSE:To make option function coincident in a user side for a microcomputer, for which a program ROM is formed to be EPROM, builting-in the EPROM for software development and the microcomputer of a mask ROM by storing option data to the program ROM. CONSTITUTION:An option register 6 is provided to write option data to one part of a program ROM 1 and to store the option data for holding these option data even while a program is executed. The option data written top one part of the program ROM 1 are written to the option register 6 at the time of reset and held by canceling the reset. Thus, the mask option data can be allocated to one part of the mask ROM and the option function can be programmed in the user side.</p> |
