PURPOSE:To decrease light fatigue of a photosensitive body and to prevent lowering of surface potential by irradiating an electrically charged image on an organic light conductive body with light which consists from light of wave length of 550nm or more. CONSTITUTION:The image forming means 11 is provided in the periphery of the photosensitive body, and an electrifying device 12, an exposing device 14, a developing device 16, a pre-transferring destaticizing device 20, a transferring charger 21, a stripping charger 22, a cleaning device 23, and a destaticizing lamp 24 are provided in the image forming device 11. The pre-transferring destaticizing device 20 is constituted of a multiple number of tungsten lamps 17, which are the light irradiating means, and a red colored filter 18 provided in front of the tungsten lamps 17. Therefore, since the light irradiation light emitting from the pre-transferring destaticizing device 20 is constituted of the light of wave length which is longer than 600nm and the short wave length components are eliminated, light fatigue is not generated in the photosensitive body 10, and at the time of continuous copying, the surface potential is prevented from gradually being lowered and the image density being varied. |
