<p>PURPOSE:To filter large-sized solid matter with an outer surrounding device and to remove fine contaminants with bacteria propagated on tubular pieces by making the outer surrounding device having a cavity from nonwoven fibers, and enclosing plural tubular pieces made of synthetic resin in the cavity. CONSTITUTION:A square having a through-hole 2 at the center is formed with a nonwoven fiber layer 1 of relatively thick binder fibers, etc., and plural tubular pieces 5 made of synthetic resin such as polypropylene are placed in the through- hole 2. The upper face and the lower face of the square are covered with nonwoven fiber layers 3 and 4 of relatively thin binder fibers, etc., and the layers are heated under pressure and integrally fused. The outer surrounding device made of nonwoven fibers and having the cavity 2 on the inside is formed in this way, and plural tubular pieces 5 made of synthetic resin can be enclosed in the cavity 2 and suspended. Consequently, the large-sized solid matter in service water is filtered by the outer surrounding device, fine org. contaminants are decomposed by the bacteria deposited on the surface of the tubular piece 5 into inorg. materials, and the water is purified.</p> |
