PURPOSE:To improve bearing characteristic of a thrust collar by producing a divided guard plate of low alloy steel for a thrust collar and fixing it to a pressure face side of said collar for a turbine rotor made of 8-14% chrome steel by means of fixing measures and further joining the divided faces of said plate. CONSTITUTION:A turbine rotor 1 made of chrome steel has two thrust collars 4. A thrust collar guard plate 9 is fixed to a pressure receiving face side of said collar 4 by means of a bolt 10. The guard plate 9 is made of low alloy steel containing chrome, molybdenum, vanadium and the like of excellent bearing characteristic as chief ingredients, and processed after being divided into two parts so as to fit them to the pressure receiving faces of the thrust collar. Further, the guard plate 9 fixed to the thrust collar 4 by means of the bolt 10 is united into one body type guard plate 9 with the other plate through welding each other on their joining faces 12 which are divided faces of the guard plate. |
