PACKING JOINT ESPECIALLY FOR ULTRA-VACUUM SYSTEMS

The sealing joint for ultrasonic sets is made from a softer material between the first component and from a harder material between the second component, where the first and second component are connected with the set of screws. The merit of the solution lies in the fact that a shoulder (3) with a flat face (4) is made on the side of the first component leaning to the second component (2), whereas a sealing gasket (5) is arranged on the side of the second component (2) turning to the first part. The sealing gasket (5) is created by the shoulder (5) by the corresponding recess (6), whose bottom is equipped with a semicircular boss (8) with a continuous blade (9), which is arranged under the level of the first seating face (10) of the second component (2), while the difference of height of the level of the blade (9) and the first seating face (10) of the second component (2) is smaller than the height of the shoulder (3), and the height of the shoulder (3) is smaller than the depth of the recess (6). The first component (1) is most frequently made of aluminium alloy, whereas the second component is made from stainless steel.<IMAGE>
