发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRODE FOR MOLTEN CARBONATE FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To retard decrease in pores to stabilize performance for a long time by adding a dispersion of oxide or fine particles of metal different from a base metal to the base metal particles of a gas diffusion electrode and by sintering the mixture to form a porous sinter for an electrode. CONSTITUTION:Oxide fine powder is added to an organic solvent such as alcohol to prepare a dispersion. The dispersion is added to metal powder which is a base material of an electrode. The preferable content of the dispersion is 0.5-5wt% because less content decreases creeping resistance based on the dispersion of the oxide fine powder and excess content causes low mechanical strength caused by decrease in sinterability of the base metal. They are put into a mechanical mixer together with mixing hard balls, and mixed for 10-100 hours depending on the kind of material and dispersed condition. The raw powder obtained is molded in a specified shape and the molding is sintered in a reducing atmosphere such as hydrogen atmosphere to obtain a porous sinter. Stress applied during operation and creep caused by heat are retarded.
