PURPOSE:To improve unevenness to be generated on the surface of fiber knitting, by a method wherein a molded trim material for a vehicle is heated at a temperature falling within a fixed temperature range on the basis of the melting peak temperature of a polyolefin resin foam. CONSTITUTION:A trim material for a vehicle to be applied is of a laminated material obtained by holding a polyolefin resin foam between a resin base and fiber knitting. The molded trim material for the vehicle is heated at a temperature falling within a range of +30 deg.C to -60 deg.C, preferably +5 deg.C to -20 deg.C on the basis of the melting peak temperature (Tmf) of the polyolefin resin foam used for a trim material for the vehicle. In the case where the heating temperature is higher than the Tmf+30 deg.C, the polyolefin resin foam is melted away. On the contrary, in the case where the heating temperautre is less than the Tmf-60 deg.C, this is not practical since this takes a long period of time for treatment. |
