PURPOSE:To realize fast information transfer by executing several input/output processes and information transfer processes simultaneously when a large amount of information are transferred by setting the input/output processes and the information transfer processes for plural another storage means independently, and operating them in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A main control means 7 records transfer information on the packet managing areas of the storage means 61-64 of a transfer origin and a transfer destination corresponding to a transfer operation from an operating means 1, and information input to the packet managing area of the transfer origin by the input/output means 51-54 of the transfer origin is started up first. The main control means 7 performs the information transfer between the packet areas via a bus means 8, and starts up information output from the packet area of the transfer destination to the input/output devices 51-54 of the transfer destination, and informs the completion of the information output to the main control means 7, thereby, information transfer between two input/output devices can be performed. In such a way, it is possible to perform the edit of information recorded successively and to execute the fast information transfer by which the reproduction of the result of the edit can be performed in real time.
