PURPOSE:To eliminate the fault of a fuel cell due to pressure difference between fuel gas and the air in the electrode of the fuel cell by controlling an inverter so as to increase a power consumed in a dummy resistor in a moment when plural dummy resistors are separated from a circuit sequentially. CONSTITUTION:At a process where the output of the fuel cell 1 is loaded first on the dummy resistor 45 when an operation is started up, and next, the output of the inverter 7 is increased by switching from the dummy resistor 45 to the inverter 7 sequentially, the dummy resistor 45 is separated from the circuit, and simultaneously with the separation of the dummy resistor, a power value loaded by a separated dummy resistor 45 is fed to a power system in a moment as the output of the inverter 7. Thereby, the output value of the fuel cell 1 can be kept constant without being fluctuated, and the fault of the main body of the fuel cell 1 due to differential pressure generated by the pressure difference between the fuel gas and the air in the electrode of the fuel cell 1 can be prevented from occurring, which enables the operation to be safely continued. |
