The transport trolley 1 which can be moved by hand is provided with a loading surface 4 and with a basket 9, capable of being moved from a horizontal position of use to a vertical position of rest and vice versa, the basket 9 being mounted at its rear end 10 in guides 15 provided on either side of the chassis 2 and each consisting of two parallel rods 16, each guide 15 is covered, towards the outside, by a cap 18 partially enveloping the rods 16, the caps 18 forming lateral buffers for the basket 9 preventing physical accidents. <IMAGE>
