<p>PURPOSE:To reduce roughness when an oblique line is printed and to improve printing quality by constituting such that light output from a light emitting diode adjacent to one corresponding to a printing pattern forming an oblique line is corrected. CONSTITUTION:A pattern correcting part 20 instructs a printing pattern extracting part 201 to extract printing pattern data ak, l according to an input signal, and a bit map developing part 202 develops the data into bit map pattern data am-1, n-2...am, n...am+2, n+2. To correct through the use of the bit map data, the data am, n is sent to a correction control part 203 together with some other data in all directions of the data concerned to extract printing pattern data forming an oblique line. When the data am, n is the one forming an oblique line, correction data for the data am, n is generated. According to the correction data, an operation control part 18 is controlled through a driving part 19, and the quantity of light from a light emitting diode adjacent to a one forming an oblique line is controlled.</p> |
