PURPOSE:To improve the surface quality, etc. of a titled sheet by using a rolling roll having a surface provided with a dense hexagonal-system metal coating of prescribed thickness, as well as an emulsion-type rolling oil having a specific central particle diam. and a saponification number. CONSTITUTION:A dense hexagonal-system metallic sheet of the same kind as a rolling sheet is passed through rolling rolls in a state of insufficient lubricating condition to make a dense hexagonal-system metal seize uniformly on the roll surface. By this method, a rolling roll having a dense hexagonal-system metal coating of >=0.2mum surface thickness is obtained. The dense hexagonal-system metallic sheet is cold rolled by using said rolling roll and an emulsion-type lubricant having a dispersed particle of <=2mum central particle diam. and a >=80 saponification number. By this rolling method, the depth of oil pit is regulated to <=1-2mum, and further the rolling pressure is regulated lower one. Accordingly, the surface accuracy and productivity of a product are improved. |
