摘要 PURPOSE:To keep the accuracy stably for a long time by adjusting stably an oscillating frequency in air without giving thermal shock to the center of a piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION:Drive electrodes 3, 4 are formed to both major planes 2a, 2b of a crystal piece 2 being the piezoelectric element respectively in a crystal oscillator 1 performing the thickness slip oscillation being the piezoelectric oscillator by the method such as vacuum deposition. The drive electrode 3 formed on one major plane 2a is split into plural small electrodes 3A, 3B-3I with the lateral slits and they have respectively lead electrodes 3a, 3b-3i led to the outer circumference of the crystal piece 2 so as to be connected electrically. The drive electrode 4 formed on the other major plane 2b of the crystal piece 2 has the lead electrode 4a led to the outer circumference. The lead electrodes 3a, 3b-3i and 4a are led respectively in opposite direction with each other, the crystal piece 2 is held at the lead electrode with a holding member and an electric field is impressed via the holding member.
