The metal drill comprises a drill head with a transverse front surface, at least one guide fillet, and at least two radially oriented cutting edges. Each cuts out a rotation zone, so that the zones together form a full circular cross-section and an axial and central channel for remoVal of swarf. One of the cutters is positioned peripherally, and arranged with an edge located in a radial direction to form the wall in the hole to be drilled. The other cutter is positioned radially within the peripheral cutter, so that the inner corner of the latter partly overlaps the inner cutter outer corner radially inwards, and partly locates axially in front of the same corner. |
