PURPOSE:To carry out easily a disinfection of not only the surface but also the inner face of a narrow path for air and water inside a handpiece by supplying an ozone water from a discharge pipe of an ozone water production apparatus into a disinfection vessel and by dipping the handpiece therein. CONSTITUTION:An ozone water supply pipe 24, which is communicated with a disinfection chamber 19 formed above a partition plate 18, is connected to an ozone water discharge pipe 14 through a supply valve 25. The ozone water is supplied to the disinfection chamber 19, wherein a handpiece 21 is dipped and disinfected, by opening the supply valve 25. An ozone water supply pipe 26, which is communicated with a path 20 formed below the partition plate 18, is also connected to the ozone water discharge pipe 14 through another supply valve 27. The ozone water is made to pass through the path 20 in a disinfection vessel 17, communication holes 23 of a connector 22 and a narrow path 21b inside the handpiece 21 successively, and ejected out of its head 21c into the aforementioned disinfection chamber 19. The path 21b inside the handpiece 21 is also dis-infected during this passage of the ozone water. |
