A description is given of a process for filling the interior 6 of an anchor rail 1 for building purposes with three filling strips 10, 20 of which two filling strips 10 fill the lateral profile spaces 11 formed beneath the angled-off leg ends 4 of the anchor rail 1, and one filling strip 20 fills the central profile space 16 defined by the longitudinal slot 5 of the anchor rail 1. In order to facilitate removal of the three filling strips 10, 20 after the anchor rail 1 has been concreted into a concrete structural part, the process according to the invention is characterised in that there is introduced, into the interior 6 of the anchor rail 1, a first sheet 7, whose width is greater than the periphery of the interior 6, in that the two lateral filling strips 10 are introduced into the lateral profile spaces 11, in that the border regions 7a of the first sheet 7 are folded over inwards, rest against the inner surfaces 12 of the two lateral filling strips 10 and are fixedly connected to the first sheet 7 resting against the inner side 13 of the anchor-rail rear 2, and in that, finally, the central filling strip 2 is introduced into the central profile space 16. <IMAGE>
