PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce considerably the amount of ink adjusting work by human labor by such an arrangement wherein information regarding the paper used, ink, temperature, etc. is designated respectively and the rate of area of image pattern is corrected by such designated information and the degree of opening of each of ink keys is controlled by the corrected information. CONSTITUTION:(i) The device is set to function input mode, and elemental values regarding paper, ink and temperature are caused to be memorized in memories 43, 44, 45 respectively. (ii) next, from a magnetic card 4 prepared by using a meter for measuring image pattern area of a printing plate, the image pattern are a of each color is read out by a reader 41, and it is converted into information of degree of opening by an ink key opening degree converter 42 and it is sent to an arithmetical control unit 46. (iii) Next, the device is set to normal mode, selection keys of paper, ink and temperature according to printing conditions are operated and based on elementary values read out from the memories 43, 44, 45 and opening degree information from the converter 42, the arithmetical control unit 46 calculates the ink key opening information of each color and based on the result of calculation, the amount of ink of ink of each color to be supplied to a press (a) is controlled. |
