Lock with a retractable knob

Lock with retractable knob, consisting of a case, in which is installed a bolt 2 movable between two end positions (opening and closing) when it is actuated by the knob 8 - without a key - or by a cylinder 9 - with a key. A basic body is installed in the case and contains - a locking boss which is rotatable between the two end positions for opening and closing the bolt 2; - a movable slide housing 5, in which the cylinder and a lever or knob 8 are located and which is held in its position by a counterspring bearing on the basic body 43; it is connected to the locking boss by means of an axle pin 504, in such a way that an axial displacement of the housing causes a rotation of the boss; - a catch claw 6 which is mounted by means of a stop spring 67 and which contains guide tracks, in which runs successively the end of the axle pin which connects the boss and the movable housing in a displaceable manner, with the result that the recess as a whole is fixed in succession in the two positions "closed" (recessed knob) and "opened" (projecting knob) (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
