PURPOSE:To prevent the hunting of a sumbeam collector which is due to an instantaneous unbalance caused by clouds, etc., by having such constitution that a perpendicular line hung down from the edge of a window provided at an upper edge part of a barrel is set an optional intermediate position between photosensors provided at the lower edge part of the barrel. CONSTITUTION:When a barrel 1 is exactly coincident with the direction of the sum, the quantity of received sunbeams is equal between photosensors X1 and X2 (or X3 and X4) which are provided at the lower edge part of the barrel. The perpendicular line hung down from the edge of a window 3 through which the sunbeams come in is set at an optional intermediate position among sensors X1-X4. As a result, the starting point of a detector is stabilized. In such constitution, it is just needed to finish exactly only the width l of each photosensor. This enables a simple and accurate detection of the direction of the sun without any unstable operation such as hunting, etc. |
