A control signal causes the unit to activate the regulating bar (4), causing it to turn to the position in which free coupling and braking of the spindle/chuck occur. The signal comes from an actuator separate from the operating lever, and can take the form of a cord (9). - The cord activates a valve which connects an air pressure to a cylinder (10), which in turn causes the regulating to be turned via components (14,16,19) on it. Such components transform the cylinder longitudinal displacement to a rotary movement for the regulating bar. |
