A device for colour puncture therapy comprises a light source and a light guide which emits light of a defined colour. Such a device is equipped for dentistry in that the light guide is of rod-shaped design, is ground in pyramid shape at its free end to be attached to the treatment site and is coloured at least in some areas of its cross-section.
