The umbrella has a telescopic handle (11) and umbrella slats (3) consisting of small metal sections hinged together on the underside. Running through the centre of the slat sections is an elastic operating band (4) attached to the outer end of the slat, which through pushing or pulling rolls up or unrolls the slat. The operating bands are attached to a spiral slot disk (2) driven by a worm gearing (6,7). USE/ADVANTAGE - An umbrella. Can be folded up in form of a disk fitting into a small handbag.
