PURPOSE:To enable the indication of flaw detection images transmitted from a plurality of vibration elements in overlapped state by a method wherein two- dimensional coordinate signals are generated corresponding to a plurality of angles of refraction so that beams are transmitted in time division and then, stored in an image memory and outputted in real time. CONSTITUTION:A multi-channel type ultrasonic probe 9 is placed on the surface of an object 10 to be inspected. A probe position detector 11 automatically recognizes the current position of the probe 9. A multi-channel ultrasonic flaw detector 8 operates a probe 9 to scan in channels under control; it will radiate ultrasonic waves and detect reflected waves at each scanning channel. The reflected waves detected with the probe 9 are sent to the multi-channel ultrasonic flaw detector 8 corresponding to the channels and received accordingly. An image display section 100 takes a signal 23 for the current position of the probe 9, an output 21 received corresponding to the channels and a channel signal 22. Thus, flaw detection images sent from a plurality of vibrators can be indicated in overlap. |
