<p>PURPOSE:An oiling agent, prepared by uniformly dispersing calcium carbonate, complex calcium soap and a water dispersing agent in a base oil, and capable of lubricating the contact part of rolls with a material to be rolled. CONSTITUTION:An oiling agent for hot rolling of steel materials containing (A) 10-40wt% calcium carbonate, (B) 0.1-10.0wt% complex calcium soap of acetic acid with a higher fatty acid and (C) 0.1-3.0wt% water dispersing agent, preferably a mixture of polyoxyethylene sorbitan trioleate and polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether at (30:70)-(40:60) weight ratio. The application of the oiling agent to a lubricating position is carried out by dispersing the oil in heated water, heated steam, heated air, etc., and applying the resultant dispersion to the frictional parts of rolls.</p> |
