PURPOSE:To improve the degree of uniform mixing in molten steel by controlling pressure in the addition of alloy iron so that the energy equal to agitation energy produced in the ordinary operation can be maintained. CONSTITUTION:In the addition of alloy iron, the timing of the increase of gas volume in alloy iron hoppers HP1, HP2 is detected. A pressure tank Ta1' used in the addition of alloy iron is provided besides a pressure tank Ta1 used in the ordinary operation, that is, the operation without the addition of alloy iron. By using the two pressure tanks Ta1, Ta1' in combination, the pressure in pressure pipelines is controlled so that the shortage of agitation energy can be compensated. |
