Steel sill for steel door posts - is held in place by plates with tongues which fit in holes in the sill
摘要
A doorway with steel door posts (4) has the lower ends of the posts connected by a steel sill (5) which is made from a C section formed from galvanised steel sheet. The sill (5) is attached to the doorposts by means of support plates (1) which are attached to the door posts by lugs (3a,3b). Small tongues (9) which project upwards are stamped out of the support plate. These tongues (9) engage rectangular holes in the upper flange of the sill (5). The sill is thus held in place without welding so that installation costs are reduced and the replacement of worn sills is simplified. USE - Steel framed doors.
