Bag label and its use, and method for filling bag labels and for fitting articles with accessories

A bag label (12) can be stuck on an article by means of a labelling machine in order to fit the article with an accessory, for example a product sample, assembly material or the like, to form a sales unit. The bag label (12) consists of a top sheet and a bottom sheet which form a bag for the accessory. On the back of the bottom sheet there is an adhesive layer (23, 24) with which the bag label (12) is stuck on the article. The top sheet (20) can be torn open along perforation lines in order to remove the accessory, for example a product sample (15), from the bag label (12). The bag label (12) is combined with an ordinary, single-ply self-adhesive label (11) to form an overall label (10) (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
